Compliance
- From the website (12-5-2021):
"Ramp is fully compliant and regulated. Supervised by the Financial Conduct Authority for crypto activity. Supervised by the Financial Supervision Authority for the open banking activity."
- From the FAQ (12-5-2021):
"We have to make sure we adhere to KYC rules concerning cryptocurrency purchases. In practice, this means that you as a user will need to work with us to verify your identity in order to transact via Ramp. Very often we are able to complete KYC identity verification using your bank account data via open banking API. This process takes seconds, and no physical document is required."

Their Other Projects
Ramp Pools
- Seems to have been canceled as of 5-2023, since no info is online anymore.
- From the FAQ (12-5-2021):
"Ramp Pools is currently not operating. Ramp Pools is a decentralized system allowing anyone with a supported bank account to earn yield by providing liquidity in selected crypto assets.
You can think of Ramp as decentralized a Coinbase. We connect with your bank account API and ask buyers to pay for your crypto directly to your account. We settle trades based on information from your bank's API. You do not need to do anything, just sit back and enjoy your profits.
Transactions are super secure. Your crypto is going to be locked in a secure smart contract and released automatically to buyers as their bank transfers arrive at your bank account. Ramp Pools is currently not operating."
