Instamine

An instamine is slightly different in that the first few blocks have supernormal block rewards, so only those miners in at the start are able to gain large holdings of the total % of that cryptocurrency.
If a project allows or creates an instamine, this is not necessarily a scam if it is public, but it should be considered a red flag for the project.
