Basics

"Popsicle.Finance is a platform for yield enhancement that focuses on AMM (Automated Market-Making) Liquidity Providers."

History

  • Started with ICE as the token, but migrated to WAGMI (27-7-2023).

Audits & Exploits

"Certik has published a Popsicle Finance audit report for their core contracts on May 5th 2021.

PeckShield has published a Popsicle Finance audit report for their SorbettoFragola ecosystem on June 28th 2021.

Both audits were released after the launch of the specific contracts.

Note: Most fix recommendations were implemented by the Popsicle Finance team."

Bugs/Exploits

"The hack on Popsicle Finances Sorbetta platform was re-paid back to all of the users who lost funds; as well as a 20% bonus for its most dedicated users."

Governance

Admin Keys

"There is a clearly labelled "Governance" section in the Popsicle Finance documentation. Defined roles are described in the governance section of their documentation, as well as a multisig function in this article.

Note: Contracts are not clearly labelled as upgradeable or not. Also, their governance portal link is dead.

Although all governance-related information is detailed in user-friendly language, the information does not relate to investments safety. No evidence of a Pause Control or similar function was found in any of the Popsicle Finance documentation."

Token Allocation

  • When ICE got migrated to WAGMI, it had a change in token amount (27-7-2023):

"We've established a fixed exchange ratio: 1 $ICE = 69 $WAGMI, maintaining this ratio for three months after the $WAGMI launch."

"ICE has a max supply of 69 million, ~64 million of which have already been minted and 44,842,141 have been burnt."

Utility

"Protocol-generated fees are used to buy back $WAGMI tokens from the market and send them to a burn address."

"$ICE is the governance token on this protocol. The ICE token has various functions such as voting on proposals for protocol updates, fee management and pool inclusions."

Staking

"Users on Popsicle.Finance can manage and stake liquidity provider (LP) tokens across different platforms. For example, users can stake Uniswap LP tokens or Sushiswap LP tokens built on the Ethereum blockchain. The same users can stake Pancakeswap LP tokens that are built on the Binance Smart Chain. Users can also stake ICE tokens received from Popsicle Stand in a bid to receive more $ICE."
