AssetMantle is an interoperability middleware for building a decentralized infrastructure for, but not limited to, the creator economy. It also has its own Tendermint MantleChain.

Basics

"The AssetMantle platform is a set of standardized tools and specifications that can be used to model exchanges and marketplaces by tokenizing, trading, and financing against ‘real-world’ financial assets (such as invoices, receivables purchase agreements, bills of lading/commodities, letters of credit, solar credits, etc.) The AssetMantle vision is to build an open-source community-driven framework that also contributes to interNFT metadata standardization and Mantle modules for modular, interoperable, composable, and decomposable NFT integration in metaverses, games, and art."

Utility

  • From Citadel.One (28-4-2022):

"$MNTL is a governance and staking token that secures the MantleChain.

It also supports MantlePlace (NFT marketplace) transactions: minting, trading, royalties, and fees.

Initially, the token will also help bootstrap genesis creators, liquidity provision, and NFT minting and trading activities through retroactive rewards and airdrops."
