  • Created by the IMF in 1969 to bolster reserves of countries. The SDR's are backed by Fiat like USD, EUR, CNY, JPY en GBP.
  • Maker DAO uses SDR's as collateral and Libra will have a stablecoin that is similar to SDR's.
