Basics
History
With the aim of becoming Ethereum's first SVM L2, Eclipse brings Solana's performance to Ethereum. The parallel execution of the SVM necessitates more storage space due to the handling of multiple transactions simultaneously. To address this storage demand, Eclipse turned to Celestia as the data availability layer.
