How it works
From Decrypt (6-10-2021):
"It’s a decentralized protocol that lets users log in and “sign” posts with an Ethereum wallet, plus it uses blockchain-based storage protocol Arweave to “permanently” back up posts and boost their censorship resistance.
Opened up its doors to all creators. Prior to today’s announcement, creators could only gain access to Mirror by earning enough votes in Mirror’s weekly WRITE Race on Wednesday afternoons. Existing Mirror users would have two hours to vote for applicants using the protocol’s WRITE token, making it a popularity contest of sorts. The top 10 finishers in the voting would be airdropped one WRITE token, which they could redeem for a Mirror-hosted .xyz blog."

Usage
- From Our Network (13-11-2021):
"Mirror opened up all tools to the public in October, leading to a 200% increase in creator activity to 600+ economic blocks deployed from 1000+ addresses. Most of this activity is in entry editions, where entries published to Arweave get tiered NFTs attached to them (0.01 ETH, 0.1 ETH, and 1 ETH tiers).
Crowdfunds are still the leading source of ETH raised, totally 2600 ETH between vanilla contributions and contributions through editions (NFTs). Mirror has also been testing Dutch auctions with the Bright Moments team, raising 1850 ETH in October from 4 auctions."
