- Bitmain; Founding member, stepped down as CEO, remained as co-chairs. Bitmain’s director of product engineering Wang Haichao has reportedly assumed CEO duties, replacing co-founders Jihan Wu and Zhan Ketuan; Wu and Zhan were in a transition phase since Dec. 2018; the two will remain as co-chairs with Wang. Update (30-12-2020): "Has reportedly been bought out of the company by his co-founder, Micree Zhan, for $600 million."
- Has a new project (7-2019) called Matrixport which is in Beta. The beta release’s ambitious plans include custody services, OTC trading, and cryptocurrency lending while being “headquartered in Singapore with offices worldwide.". Update (2-8-2021): raised $100M in a Series C financing round.
